The Isuzu Queensland Open was played from 11-14 March at Pelican Waters Golf Club part of the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia.
Sydneysider Andrew Evans could barely believe the drought-breaking trophy he was holding at the Isuzu Queensland Open after fearing he might lose his tour card just weeks ago.
The journeyman pro was a worthy two-shot winner of his first title in a decade of striving and promptly cancelled his flight home so he could properly celebrate. Read more.

Getting there and parking
40 Mahogany Drive, Pelican Waters Sunshine Coast, Queensland
Just an hour from Brisbane along the Bruce Highway, Pelican Waters Golf Club is part of the renowned surf beaches and shopping of the fabulous Sunshine Coast.
Championship Shuttle
A free shuttle bus runs from Caloundra City Private School to Pelican Waters Golf Club from Saturday 13th March – Sunday 14th March. Championship shuttle times are as follows: Caloundra CPS to Pelican Waters - 10am, 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm Pelican Waters to Caloundra CPS - 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm Pickup locations: Caloundra City Private School - 200 Pelican Waters Blvd, Pelican Waters - "Event Pickup" zone. Please look for Isuzu Queensland Open signage. Pelican Waters Golf Club - Main Entrance - 40 Mahogany Drive, Pelican Waters.
Parking
Please observe the signs when arriving at the venue to find your car park. General Parking is located at P2 on the Course Map with entry via Mahogany Drive through the Clubhouse carpark. In the event that overflow parking is required additional signage will be used to show spectators where to park.
How to get here
From Bruce Highway, take the Caloundra exit to Caloundra Road.
Continue to Nicklin Way roundabout turn right into Pelican Waters Boulevard.

Palm Lake Resort $100,000 Hole-in-one
On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14th, head over to the 15th hole to watch players have a chance of winning $100,000.
Located at the 15th tee, shaded viewing areas provide spectators with a prime position to view the 15th green and tee and also the 14th green. Enjoy food and drinks whilst watching the golf as well as listening to the resident DJ playing relaxing tunes.

In line with the Queensland’s Chief Health Officers Industry Framework for COVID Safe Events and in an effort to make playing and spectating at the Isuzu Queensland Open as safe and risk free as possible a COVID Safe Event Checklist will be in effect.
PRE-EVENT
Registered players are to check the Golf Australia COVID-19 FAQs
Maintain good hygiene practices at all times. Including: regular hand washing and sanitisation when entering venues, after using the bathroom and before and after handling food; and covering your mouth and nose if you need to cough or sneeze. Hand wash facilities are available through the event site.
Wearing masks: masks can help reduce the spread of COVID-19. You may choose to wear a mask, however it is not mandatory to do so at our event.
Comply with any QLD Health direction and respect event staff, security or emergency services staff.
Do not attend the event if you, or an immediate family or household member, are feeling unwell or sick, have confirmed COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been instructed by the relevant authority to self-isolate.
SPECTATORS
Spectators are welcome at the Isuzu Queensland Open but will be limited to as per the COVID Safe Event Checklist for outdoor events

Shaded Grandstand seating is available at the 18th Green, social groups are required to maintain physical distance in the grandstand, example leaving empty seats between groups. To assist with physical distancing the Grandstand size has been increased in comparison to the 2020 event.
The Shaded Marquees on the 18th Green will be restricted to comply with the 1 person per 2sqm.

All Isuzu Queensland Open Staff, contractors and volunteers must undergo a basic health screening and induction prior to their first shift.
