Child Safeguarding | Resources for Clubs, Facilities, Coaches, Officials and Families

Golf Australia is committed to providing a safe environment for children and young people at all golf clubs and facilities.

To get started we provide an implementation guide and tracker. The guide walks you through, step-by-step, process your club should implement, to provide a safe environment for children. The tracker allows you to keep stakeholders informed about the progress, allocate implementation responsibilities.

To aid implementation, we have provided resources targeted at three distinct cohorts: Club and Facility Administrators, Coaches and Officials and, Families.

The resources have been developed in close consultation with people currently in each cohort and involved in golf. Additionally, they are fully compliant with Sport Integrity Australia’s guidance and the National Integrity Policy framework.
