PODCAST: WA PGA champion Jay Mackenzie, The Shark and an Aussie first

by Golf Australia

Jay Mackenzie joins the Australian Golf Show.

This week our hosts Tiffany Cherry and Mark Allen kick off the show by discussing one of the biggest talking points in the world of golf - The Great White Shark, Greg Norman. They talk through the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary which aired last week, Norman's The Open ambitions and the latest on his work with the new Saudi-funded league.

Then WA PGA champion Jay Mackenzie joins the show to talk about his life-changing win in Kalgoorlie at the weekend, sleeping in his grandfather's "old and beaten up" van, his perspective on professional golf and more.

We are also joined by Shepparton Golf Club board member, Anne Pegg, to give us some insight on them becoming the first club to sign the R&A Women in Golf Charter.

In Martin Blake's absence, Australian Golf writer Dane Heverin has all the latest news before we speak to two Australian Golf Foundation Junior Girls Golf Scholarship recipients who have won a great prize from Callaway.

As always, Marko's Masterclass wraps up the show and he looks at the swings of Minjee Lee and Hannah Green.
