The Bendigo Golf & Bowling Club was established in 1901 and is now considered by many to be the premier golf club in the Bendigo Area. Bendigo Golf Course is situated just 10 minutes north of the Bendigo CBD and offers Men’s 6,040 metre par 72 and Women’s 5,353 metre par 73 layouts that provide an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfers. The course plays host to a number of high profile events including the Bendigo Open Amateur Tournament (an Ivo Whitton event), the Stuart Appleby Golf Foundation and Sevens Golf. Green fee players are most welcome. Group discounts apply and social club bookings are welcome. Hire clubs and motorised carts are available. Visitors with official Australian handicaps are welcome to enter both Men’s and Women’s competitions. Men’s competitions are held on Saturday and Wednesday, and Women’s on Tuesday and Thursday. Visitors are welcome to use clubhouse facilities and to join with Members socially.
