2019/20 Queensland Senior OOM results
by Golf Australia
This is the eighth year that Golf Australia has held the Queensland Senior Order of Merit.
689 players played in 24 QSOOM events over the 2019/20 period. The figures were affected by COVID-19 restrictions which resulted in no events for approximately 4 months.
There were 254 women and 435 men who played in at least one event this year.
The average field size was 71 players, the highest ever, with 76% of the fields being 50 or more players.
The QSOOM concluded with the Women and Men’s Queensland Senior Amateur Championships and as usual those events had a big say in the outcome.
Golf Australia sincerely thanks QSOOM Volunteer Coordinator John Jayo who has once again done a stellar job and assisting all clubs and players throughout the year.
